St Anthony Family Medical Practice operates under the leadership of two directors; Dr Adel Asaid and Dr Eji Ekeanyanwu.
We operate as a family-focused medical service providing patients with the highest quality of care whilst ensuring continual innovation and professional development.

  • Dr Adel Asaid - OAM

    MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SAFMP

    Practices At: Strathfieldsaye Primary Health, Spring Gully Primary Health, Emu Creek Health Professionals, Heathcote Primary Health, Elmore Primary Health and Waranga Medical Centre.

    Qualification: MBBCH AMC FRACGP

    Clinical Interest: Training new Doctors to maintain rural services, aged care, travel vaccinations and family medicine.

  • Dr Eji Ekeanyanwu

    DIRECTOR OF SAFMP

    Practices At: Campaspe Medical Centre

    Qualification: MBBS, FCFP, FRACGP 

    Clinical Interest: Travel medicine, children’s health, men’s and women’s health, chronic disease management, skin checks and minor procedures

    The Extended Medicare Safety Net can help to lower your out-of-pocket medical costs for out of hospital services.

    We recommended that all patients register with Medicare as a family or couple so that your out-of-pocket costs are counted together towards the Extended Medicare Safety Net thresholds and the PBS Safety Net thresholds.
