Adel Asaid newDr Adel Asaid

Dr. Adel Asaid graduated Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, in 1982. He moved to Australia in 1998, starting work in Melbourne, before moving to Bendigo where his passion for rural medicine began. He started his rural GP training in 1998 with the Royal College of General Practitioners, in Eaglehawk and Dimboola. This then encouraged him to commence practice in his first rural medical clinic in Elmore, in 1999. As Dr Asaid’s vision to provide health services to other rural areas developed, and needs were identified in other communities, he expanded these rural medical services, with additional rural clinics situated in Boort, Rochester, Strathfieldsaye, Heathcote and a satellite medical service located at Lockington.
